The Verb in Arbėrisht has 5 moods:
- Indicative - Used in simple declaration - "I am"
- Subjunctive - Used to express possibility - "that I
may be, so I can be"
- Conditional - Used to express conditionality - "I
would be"
- Optative - Used to express desire - "O, that I
might be"
- Imperative - Used to express Command - "Be "
There are also 2 voices:
- Active - "I see"
- Medio-passive - "I am seen, I see myself"
In addition to
these, there are a few
non-finite uses of the verb, all of which employ
the participle
