A Prayer for Marriages
Eternal God,
Who created woman
that man might not be alone,
Whose blesses
marriage by adding one and one to make one,
Who would not
have us unequally yoked,
So knit together
the hearts and souls of Christian spouses
That together
they would
Walk together as one
Love You together as one.
Eternal Trinity,
You are Three
Persons in one Being.
In this same way,
let diversity in unity
Be reflected in
marriages.
Let the love of
the Father for mankind
be reflected in
our love for children.
Let the love of
Christ for the Church
be reflected in
the love of man for wife.
Amen.
